007/2017 Victim Support - Restorative Justice 2017/18

The Commissioner has agreed to provide grant funding to Victim Support for 2017/18 to enable the continuation of restorative services Pan-Sussex which currently ceases on 31 March 2017.

The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) aspiration is for all areas to create a Restorative Justice (RJ) service for all victims of crime at all stages of the criminal justice system. A fundamental aspect of this is working with victims harmed by crime. The now nationally accredited Sussex RJ Partnership relies on the services from Victim Support to ensure compliance with victim code and engage with victims in relation to RJ as part of their needs assessment.

The grant will be funded from the MOJ Victim Services Grant.
