The PCC holds a Performance & Accountability Meeting (PAM) each month with Sussex Police Chief Constable Giles York. Questions during each PAM are themed around the four priorities in the Police & Crime Plan “Safer in Sussex”: Crime & Community Safety; Victim Focus; Public Confidence; and Value for Money. The issues raised during these meetings are based around the concerns that members of the public raise with Mrs Bourne. Twenty young people from across the county have begun their journey as new members of the PCC's ‘Sussex Youth Commission on Policing & Crime’. Meanwhile applications have opened for the first Sussex Elders' Commission, providing residents aged 6o years and older an opportunity to support, challenge and inform the local Police & Crime Plan.
