Safe Space Sussex Funding Network

As part of The Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner's Sussex Police & Crime Plan commitment to providing specialist support services for victims and witnesses of crime, the Safe Space Sussex Funding Network has been specifically developed to provide dedicated support to victims and witnesses of crime, to help them to cope and recover from their experiences.

If you are an organisation who provides a support service to victims and witnesses of crime and wish to apply for funding, you will need to first sign up to the funding network which is an approved providers list. You can view the current providers on the list here.

Become a member of the Safe Space Sussex Funding Network:

To sign up as an approved provider, you must demonstrate certain levels of quality assurance and confirm acceptance of the terms and conditions within the prospectus.

Signing up as an approved provider is a one-time process, although regular updates are requested to ensure continued compliance with the conditions for membership.

As a member of the funding network you will be able to:

  • Bid into competitive funding tranches when released
  • Be included on the mailing list for the weekly funding network newsletter which contains useful information, including funding opportunities, policy updates, training opportunities, events, etc.
  • Be invited to funding network events which gives providers a chance to collaborate, share best practice and strengthen professional relationships.

Due Diligence on Providers

Please note that due diligence checks will be completed in advance of grants rounds, allowing providers to apply for grant opportunities when they are launched. This will only need to be submitted once, regardless of the number of funding applications providers are submitting. This will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure qualification still stands, or more frequently as required.

The due diligence checklist can be viewed here.

*The Safe Space Sussex Funding Network is currently closed to funding applications*
