MOJ: Transforming Management of Young Adults in Custody

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has recently consulted on the proposed changes to the way young adult offenders are managed in custody and access support and services to reduce their reoffending. It outlined a range of proposed changes, including a move away from the current system of managing young adults in custody in age-specific institutions with young adults instead held in adult establishments suited to their resettlement and rehabilitation needs.
