Victim Services and Safe Space Sussex
From 1st April 2015, PCCs became responsible for commissioning emotional and practical support services for victims of crime in their local area. Victims of crime are entitled to certain support and information from criminal justice agencies such as the Police, Courts Service and the Crown Prosecution Service, which are set out in the Code of Practice for Victims of Crime.
Across Sussex we have a multitude of services available should you be unfortunate enough to be a victim of crime.
In the first instance, if the crime is happening now - call 999. If it is a non-emergency you can call 101 or report online.
If you're looking for help or support, please visit the Safe Space Sussex Website where you can find the support service that's right for you.
To find out more about the support you should receive if you are a victim of crime please take a look at the Code of Practice for Victims of Crime in England and Wales (Victims' Code) - GOV.UK
